Shakespeare in the Park is presented by (but not limited to) Mount Royal University. The showing of A Midsummer Night’s Dream was on August 20th, 2009.
I brought my camera with me hoping I wouldn’t be escorted from the audience…turned out cameras were fine as long as you avoided using your flash.
People watched by donation, and this years turn out was one of the largest the presenters had ever seen. Of course the performance itself was very entertaining (and colourful, as you can see). It was very entertaining and funny, despite my problems understanding King James dialect.
